Русский Visit of the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan, H.E. Rahmonalizoda Farhodshoh Rahmonali, to the Free Economic Zone “Panj”
On 1 May 2026, the Free Economic Zone “Panj” hosted an official working visit by H.E. Rahmonalizoda Farhodshoh Rahmonali, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the visit, a comprehensive briefing was provided on the activities of the Free Economic Zone “Panj”, including its investment potential, incentives available to investors, and key development priorities. Particular emphasis was placed on investment promotion, the establishment of new industrial capacities, the strengthening of industrial cooperation, and the expansion of export potential.
The visit programme included site visits to both operational and under-construction enterprises within the zone. In particular, the oil processing facility was inspected, where current production capacities and prospects for further expansion were presented.
The delegation was also briefed on the activities of Umidi Sabz LLC, where construction of a production facility is currently underway.
Special attention was given to Pakhtai Sharq LLC, where an investment project focused on deep cotton processing and the establishment of a spinning mill is being implemented. The project is expected to contribute to the development of a textile cluster, promoting a higher degree of processing and strengthening the country’s export capacity.
During the visit, detailed discussions were held on the stages of project implementation, construction progress, projected production indicators, and their contribution to the industrial development of the region.
At the conclusion of the visit, H.E. Rahmonalizoda Farhodshoh Rahmonali commended the progress achieved within the Free Economic Zone “Panj” and underscored its important role in fostering industrial growth, attracting investment, and enhancing economic cooperation.
In recognition of these efforts, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Tajikistan presented a letter of appreciation to the administration of FEZ “Panj” for its significant contribution to the national economy and its effective cooperation with the Chamber.
