Русский Meeting of the Head of the FEZ “Panj” Administration with Investors from the Islamic Republic of Iran
On 14 January 2026, a working meeting was held between the Head of the Administration of the Free Economic Zone “Panj” and two investors from the Islamic Republic of Iran.
During the meeting, the Iranian side expressed interest in implementing an investment project aimed at establishing a construction reinforcement (rebar) manufacturing facility within the territory of the FEZ “Panj”.
Within the framework of the discussions, the parties addressed issues related to the placement of the production facility within the FEZ territory, the provision of the necessary engineering infrastructure, the terms and conditions for granting benefits and incentives stipulated by the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan for free economic zone entities, as well as the stages of project implementation and prospects for further cooperation.
The Head of the FEZ “Panj” Administration briefed the investors on the legal status of the zone, its investment potential, existing residents, and the advantages of implementing investment projects within the FEZ framework.
At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides expressed their mutual readiness to continue negotiations and to further elaborate the project with a view to its subsequent implementation.
