Visit of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Free Economic Zone “Panj”

On 22 October 2026, the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali, visited the Panj Free Economic Zone as part of efforts to implement the instructions and directives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan concerning the establishment and commissioning of industrial enterprises.

During the visit, the Minister reviewed the conditions created for business and investment activities, as well as the progress of construction at the Pakhtai Sharq LLC facility and other sites under development within the zone.

Attention was also given to ongoing development and landscaping works and the creation of favourable conditions for manufacturing enterprises.

The visit focused on reviewing the implementation of industrial projects, the status of construction works, and efforts to create favourable conditions for the growth of investment activity in the Panj Free Economic Zone.
