14th Meeting of the Supervisory Board of Free Economic Zones of the Republic of Tajikistan

On April 17, 2026, in the building of the State Institution Administration of the Sughd Free Economic Zone, a meeting of the Supervisory Board was held under the chairmanship of the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon Safarali — Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Free Economic Zones of the Republic of Tajikistan, with the participation of representatives of ministries and agencies.

During the meeting, the report of the Executive Secretary of the Supervisory Board of Free Economic Zones on the implementation of the decisions of the previous meeting of the Board was heard, as well as reports of the heads of the administrations of the Sughd, Dangara, Kulob, Panj, and Ishkoshim free economic zones on the activities of these zones for 2025 and the first quarter of 2026. The draft “Single Window System for Services to the Subjects of Free Economic Zones” was also presented.

Abdurahmonzoda A. S. noted that the country’s free economic zones have been established with the direct support of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, and the Government of the country, with the aim of increasing production and export potential, attracting foreign and domestic investment, ensuring employment, introducing new equipment and technologies, as well as addressing other socio-economic tasks.

During the meeting, representatives of ministries and agencies presented their proposals on the development of free economic zones and ways to address existing challenges, following which relevant decisions were adopted.
