Administration Services

The governing body within the territory of the Panj Free Economic Zone (FEZ) is the Administration of the Panj FEZ. The Administration provides support to FEZ entities at every stage of project implementation.

Within its competence and in accordance with the Regulation of the Panj FEZ, the Administration provides the following services to entities:

  • protection of the interests of FEZ entities;
  • creation of favorable conditions for attracting domestic and foreign investment, as well as other types of resources;
  • supervision over compliance with the legal regime of the Panj FEZ, preparation of amendments and additions to the relevant Regulation and consideration of related matters in accordance with the established procedure;
  • ensuring state control and oversight over the rational use of natural and labor resources within the territory of the Panj FEZ in order to implement laws and regulatory acts related to the development of the Panj FEZ;
  • provision of land plots for lease to FEZ entities, as well as other facilities within the Panj FEZ;
  • establishment of information centers, business incubators, warehouses, administrative buildings, industrial facilities and other necessary infrastructure to ensure efficient operation and development of the Panj FEZ;
  • coordination of activities of scientific, design, industrial, construction and other domestic and foreign organizations engaged in the establishment and operation of the Panj FEZ;
  • review of business plans and investment projects of applicants;
  • issuance to applicants of documents confirming location and legal address within the Panj FEZ;
  • regulation and development of the Panj FEZ’s relations with international markets;
  • organization of training, retraining and professional development of personnel for the Panj FEZ, as well as participation in the implementation of state policy in the fields of workforce development, employment, youth policy and migration in the region;
  • organization of conferences, meetings, seminars and other events;
  • issuance of certificates to FEZ entities;
  • facilitation of the effective utilization of funds for projects of regional significance;
  • assistance in obtaining and processing entry and exit visas in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan;
  • issuance of permits for entry into the territory of the Panj FEZ;
  • exercise of other powers provided for by the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Free Economic Zones”, the present Regulation and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Tajikistan.
